The maps themselves can be saved as a PNG image if you want something that can be viewed by anyone. You can designate certain things as GM-visible only to allow you to print out a players' map. The maps produced have various features which can be turned on or off. It is still in development - for example I've yet to provide labels. The map above did not take me long to make - perhaps an hour, and it was one of the first maps I made with Hexographer.
